1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.socii.au (“the Site”), which is operated by:
SOCii PTY LTDACN: 690 364 731

Australia
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Site.
2. Description of the service
The Site serves as the public web presence for SOCii PTY LTD. It provides information about SOCii, its mission, and its publicly available platforms, including:
- A-GIC, the Australian General Independent Census, accessible at census.socii.au; and
- AIM-HR, the Australian Independent Model for Housing Reform, accessible at housing.socii.au; and
- Facecut, an advocacy media utility application, accessible at facecut.socii.au.
The Site itself is informational in nature. It does not directly collect census responses, run housing models, or process user-submitted data. Each sub-application (A-GIC, AIM-HR, and Facecut) is governed by its own terms and privacy policies, which are available on the respective platforms.
3. Informational disclaimer
The content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes, or is intended to constitute:
- legal advice;
- financial advice;
- housing, planning, or property advice;
- tax advice; or
- professional advice of any kind.
Any data, models, projections, or analysis accessible through SOCii platforms are for informational and modelling purposes only. They are not a substitute for independent professional advice. You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on the content of the Site or any SOCii platform without first seeking appropriate professional counsel.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in contravention of any applicable Australian Commonwealth, State, or Territory law;

- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation;
- reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content of the Site except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design elements, is the property of SOCii PTY LTD or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law and international intellectual property treaties.
You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

SOCii PTY LTD is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or completeness of content on third-party websites that may be linked from the Site.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)):
- The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- SOCii PTY LTD does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- SOCii PTY LTD will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantee or right that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
8. Digital communication and electronic signatures
You consent to receiving communications from SOCii PTY LTD electronically, including via the Site, email, or through notices posted on associated platforms. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Where applicable, digital signatures and electronic acceptance of terms are recognised and enforceable under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth) and corresponding State and Territory legislation.
9. Changes to these terms
SOCii PTY LTD reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
