End-to-end encryption, disappearing messages, unsend within two minutes or until seen, and profile customisation built around direct messaging first — swipe away to reveal searchable channels you can join or create.
What it does
- E2E encryption with US-based authentication (minimum data for cross-platform sign-in)
- Choice of local-only or GDPR-covered EU cloud storage; Australian encrypted media servers
- Open and invite-only channels maintained by creators, communities and independent journalists
- AI auto-moderation with channel-level moderation duties that can be passed between users
- Community-vote governance on any proceeds from clean, consenting data used for AI training
Community data commons
Where channel activity generates commercial value from consenting data, affected users vote by majority to opt in or out — with proceeds shared under the same community commons model as look and gettit.
